William Van Trump has dedicated more than 18 years to delivering services within the community services sector, educational environments, and humanitarian programs. William has led programs within Government and Non-Government – which includes Manus Island’s Refugee Offshore Processing, Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) Community Service Centres within Penrith, St Marys, and Hawkesbury, as well as Wesley Family Preservation Programs across Western Sydney and Nepean Blue Mountains.

Over the past 9 years, William has worked within the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ), building his practice based on principles of open, empathetic, and trusting relationships, with the tools of dignified language and a family-driven process. William is the Operations Manager for the Wesley Family Preservation program, which supports 555 families and children of the Greater Western Sydney, Nepean, and Blue Mountains region. The programs focus is on improving well-being and enabling families to access appropriate social and practical support for children and young people aged 0-17.
